Getting Started |
Here's how to get started.
- Import your existing resume and mark it as your current resume (*).
- Import your existing cover letter and mark it as your current cover letter (*).
- Check mailer properties.
- Send a resume to yourself.
Notes:A resume created with the resume wizard or form editor uses a document generator to produce the resume from the individual data items. The generated resume may be formatted close to what you want using the "edit" tab in the resumes window. Then you can make changes directly by hand to make small edits. This type of resume is called a "data" resume because it has a database attached to it. The database is re-used to do form-filling.
Even if you already have a resume, have imported it, and are using it as your current resume, it is a good idea to create a data resume from it to use with the form-fill features of the multi-browser. You do not need to mark this resume as your current resume. You can simply use it for form-filling.
Taking these minimum steps will give you most of what you need to use Job Harvester. Help is always available by pressing the F1 key.
